A winner of the USA and World Championships in the event of a hurdle, Lolo Jones has reached her present standing through a lot of struggle and immense patience. Jones had the most difficult of lives being the daughter of an unwed mom who had five other children. Her mother lived on the street and was even living inside the basement of a church in the area at times. Jones won the NCAA Indoor Hurdles contest in the years 2003 and the 2004. Jones had completed her college education in 2005, started to work hard in track. Jones won Torino Memorial in 2005, and also Ostrava and Heusden races the following year.

Brandt was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. She emigrated into Auckland New Zealand with her family in her late teens. Brandt was spotted locally by casting directors, and was offered the role of Naevia, in the Starz sensation Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Her character was popular with audiences and producer Steven S. D Knight, Sam Raimi and Sam Raimi. Mazikeen appeared as the Vertigo/DC comics fans' favorite Mazikeen in Netflix's Lucifer show, which lasted for a total of six years. Lucifer was a smash hit and broke the record of binge viewing and was named as the best binged show in 2021 by Forbes. Brandt will next be seen in a 6 episode Walking Dead limited spin-off starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Giurira and will be aired in 2024. Brandt is also set to star alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan and Chris Meloni in the adult animated show Captain Fall which airs July 2023 on Netflix. Lesley Ann Brandt, born December 2, 1981 was born in Cape Town South Africa. She is quite a talented New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt moved with her entire New Zealand family to Auckland in the year 1999. She began her career working in Auckland as a retail store owner, and was then made an IT manager consultant. Lesley's first job was a few model projects. Her appearances then included numerous commercials. Her graduation was with a degree in acting in the year 2008. In 2009 she began learning in Meisner Methods of Study. Her first acting job was on the New Zealand TV drama Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt is a supporting character on New Zealand television drama Shortland Street. She then appeared on the Science-fiction drama series called This Is Not My Life which was based upon the fictional city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt appeared as Naevia a young hostage in the Television Series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character was featured in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
