Yael stone, a native of New York City-based Australian resident, portrayed Lorna Morello in Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael Stone was a graduate of NIDA. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael was pleased to have found her new residence when Brooklyn Academy of Music, which was the venue where the production premiered to critical acclaim, became the place she now calls New York City. Yael was co-founder at The Cannery. The Cannery is a studio located situated in Bushwick, Brooklyn, the The Cannery promotes new writing and imaginative, inventive ventures.
